The most useful training question in the data is not simply “who lifts the most?” It is: how does bodyweight relate to max squat, bench, and deadlift performance, and which bodyweight ranges tend to pair best with each lift?
Question 1: How does bodyweight relate to total performance?
The pattern is strong: total lift output rises with bodyweight in both sexes, but the relationship is clearly not one-size-fits-all. There are broad bands where lifters are unusually productive for their bodyweight, which suggests that weight class and individual structure matter.
Question 2: Which bodyweight bands produce the strongest lift averages?
This view makes the training story more concrete. Squat and deadlift usually continue climbing as bodyweight rises, while bench performance has a slightly different curve because upper-body strength depends on a mix of body mass, leverages, and technique. The data suggests that bodyweight ranges matter much more than a single fixed “ideal” number.
