About Me
My name is Tristan, and I am a student at New College of Florida. I built this project to explore how powerlifting performance changes with bodyweight, lift type, and sex using real competition data.

Project Background
This project uses public powerlifting records to analyze how strength varies across different bodyweight ranges and lift types. The goal is to make the data easier to understand by separating performance patterns into clearer visual stories instead of mixing everything into a single chart.
The site focuses on practical questions such as:
- Which bodyweight bands are associated with the strongest totals?
- How do squat, bench, and deadlift differ across bodyweight?
- How do performance patterns compare between male and female lifters?
This work is part of my continuing study of data analysis and scientific communication, with a focus on building clear and useful visual explanations.
