Powerlifting Performance Explorer
Home
This site uses public powerlifting meet data instead of a static training plan. The dataset contains tens of thousands of lifter records and includes bodyweight, sex, age, and the best squat, bench, deadlift, and total for each athlete. That gives a real foundation for asking questions like: which bodyweight ranges support the strongest totals, and which lifts respond most strongly to size and bodyweight?
Public meet files do not consistently report height, so the most reliable body-size signal in the dataset is bodyweight and weight class. The analysis therefore focuses on bodyweight, age, and performance rather than a height-only model.
What this dataset tells us
- The sample includes more than 50,000 lifter observations
- Bodyweight is strongly associated with total lift output
- Men and women show different performance curves, but the trend remains: larger bodyweight ranges tend to support larger totals
- This is a real observational data set, not a generic plan or static recommendation
The homepage is therefore built around actual meet data and the question: which bodyweight ranges pair best with strong squat, bench, and deadlift performance?
